Watching her two nephews and a puppy named Thor for the weekend was supposed to be fun for Greenly Kendrick. Sweating to death at a never-ending baseball game while getting gum in her hair, soda down her shirt, and an ice cream pedicure wasn’t part of the deal. Neither is finding out the best blind date she’s ever stood up is there to witness it all.

Except it doesn’t stop at one crazy weekend. Embarrassment turns into mortification, a head wound, and being patch up by her amused knight in shining armor.
Roman Carpenter can’t help laughing at Greenly’s mishaps, but for some reason, he sticks with her through it all. At least, until his ex-wife shows up and starts causing trouble. What started off as a strange, yet promising relationship, might be able to survive spiteful exes, but adding in a stalker that puts everyone on edge and pulls the police into the mix, might push everyone past their breaking point.

I like the writing style of this author. I read this book very fast. It started out very funny with the heroine (Greenly) having a very accidentprone day, observed by Roman, one of her sister's neighbors and father of a young boy.They immediately hit it off.
What I liked less: the speedy relationship. They hardly know each other and he has a young child that was practically abandoned by his mother. It is practically insta-love!
I did like the writing style and the story overall. It kept me pleasantly engaged!

I loved this book! I laughed so hard I was shaking at the mishaps that Greenly went through. The writing was so well done that I felt I was a friend to Greenly, going through her life with her. I liked all the characters, not just Greenly. There was single dad Roman (Greenly's love interest), his 7 year old son, Sammy who was just too cute, Greenly's over-protective sister, Lydia and Roman's ex-wife, Jen who all played big parts in this story. I can't forget Greenly's nephews because one of them was the main reason for the laughs at the beginning of the story.
Even though there were a lot of funny things happening throughout this book, it wasn't all chuckles. When Greenly realizes she has a stalker, things get serious.
If you like romantic comedy you don't want to miss this book.
It was fun and cute read. I loved it and am so looking forward for more! It was fluffy read with adorableness.
And the chemistry between Greenly (lol, in the beginning I thought it was her surname, it is unusual name) and Roman is cute and hot lol. Sammy OMG! He is so adorbs and was sad with what he had to cope at seven but am really happy with how it all sorted out in the end. I loved all the kids Sammy, Colby and Evan, they made the story fun!
And the suspense regarding the stalker, I wouldn't have guessed the person.

Let me say that I love all books by DelSheree Gladden. She is one of the few authors I know who can write in the many genres she does, and each time produce a compelling, captivating read that has me turning page after page at top speed trying to soak it all in. Her books are utter bliss, and this one is once again a great hit.
Greenly is clumsy, getting into messes all the time. So when she is sweaty, with gum stuck to her hair, and she meets Roman, a hot, single dad, she is not surprised by her luck to be in that particular situation.
They hit it off instantly, and after all the mishaps of that first meet, they agree to give it a go, and go on a date.
In enters Roman’s ex-wife, and everything goes tumbling down. They don’t seem to have a fighting chance, but Sammy, Roman’s son, turns to Greenly to help him through the pain of his mum entering in his life again.
Will they have a fighting chance? And what about all these crazy notes that seem to pop up at Greenly’s apartment threatening her?
I loved this book. Greenly and Roman are such a great match for each other. Greenly is so loving and kind to Sammy, she is perfect for them, even if she can’t see it herself.
I like the humor in this book, and also the real drama and pain. It was a perfect read, and I had a hard time putting this book down. Once again DelSheree proves to be so in tune with the story, to give the readers the right amount of pain and drama, the right amount of humor, and that great sence of butterflies that accompany every great romance. This was a perfect read!
Ugh. I should not have read that book. No, it wasn’t bad. Quite the opposite, actually. In fact, I freaking loved it. Like, seriously, I think this is the best “romance” book I have ever read in my entire life. It was romantic is a sweet way, not in a kinky bow chicka bow BOW kind of way, which just made me love it even more. But the fact that it says “The Handbook Series #1” means that there is more to read.... but this book was recently released and there is no book #2 available yet!!! Arg! Curses!!! The agony of having to wait! My life is over! Ruined! Thanks a lot!
Okay, all joking aside, I really loved this book. Did I mention that already? From the moment that Greenly got gum stuck in her hair, sending her down a spiral of bad luck and misfortune that turned into the cutest romance story of all time, I was attached to her. You might even say that she and I are soul sisters. I’m not entirely convinced that she is a fictional character, to be honest. She’s my new BFF.
And don’t even get me started on Roman. Or the kids. LOVE. Did I mention that I loved this book?
Here is the story for those of you who like summaries Greenly’s nephew accidentally spits gum in her hair while they’re at a baseball game. The man sitting behind her helps her get it out – but Roman just-so-happens to be the man that Greenly’s meddling sister has been trying to set her up with. And it quickly becomes obvious why her sister has been pushing Greenly toward going out with the single dad. He’s Mr. Perfect-in-every-way. Greenly, on the other hand, is a total mess, having one of the worst days of her life – aside from the gum, there is spilled soda, ice cream shoes, and out-of-control dog, body injuries, terrible timing all around.... and vomit. And blood. Greenly doesn’t do too well with those last two, which just makes the whole day even exponentially worse. Yet Roman is still willing to stick around? Huh? Well... he does have a crazy ex-wife and some issues, but Greenly is still the one who ends up with broken bones. Oh, and a stalker?
It’s full of funny moments, yet suspenseful and thrilling at the same time. It’s pretty much everything I could ever ask for in a book. I even teared up at one time. Not including the end, when it finished and I had no more to read! Why is there no more to read!?!? Give me more of this story to read!!
